Rescue Systems I/I/III

This course is the basis for conducting safe and systematic rescues in urban search and rescue environments. Rescue Systems has three levels of instruction and each level builds upon the previous course.

Trench Rescue Technician

This course is designed to prepare emergency response personnel to perform rescue operations in trench and excavation emergencies of depths greater than 8’.

Confined Space Rescue Technician

This course is designed to give students a working knowledge of the OSHA standard to facilitate operations with industry and other agencies involved with confined space rescues.

Rope Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician

This will be a blended offering of Missouri Rope Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician instructed by Total Technical Rescue Solutions, LLC. The online component is a MO-specific course created in Jones and Bartlett Navigate2 and will be available to begin pre-work upon registration for the class.

Rescue Boat Operator

This 4-day course will introduce you to the basics of boat terminology before teaching you the skills and knowledge necessary to perform static and swift water rescues from a watercraft. Job performance requirements in this course meet and exceed NFPA 1006 and 2500. Further, all our instructors are active members with FEMA MO-TF1 and/or regional swift water strike teams with real world experience.


Tower Rescue Technician

This course meets and/or exceeds all JPRs for Tower Rescue Technician as defined in NFPA 1006 and 2500. The rescue techniques learned here translate to a variety of rescue scenarios such as crane, water tower, arborist, billboard, cell tower and many others. Rope Rescue Technician certification is a prerequisite.
