Total Technical Rescue Solutions (TTRS) was founded by six firefighters who have a passion for Technical Rescue.  We have been teaching classes together for over 8 years in the St. Louis County Missouri area.  We saw a need for these programs beyond our region, and TTRS was born. 

TTRS Instructors are FEMA Rescue Team Managers, Rescue Squad Officers, and Rescue Specialists with over 120 combined years of service in the Fire / Rescue community. Our instructors hold technician level certifications in rescue disciplines including Trench, Confined Space, Structural Collapse, Swift Water/Boat Operator, Vehicle, and High Angle Rope.  In addition to our background in Technical Rescue, we have experience in industrial safety including Confined Space and Tower Rescue. 

TTRS Instructors have been teaching the IFSAC Certified Technical Rescuer Rope Core/I/II class since its inception in Missouri.  We have trained over 500 firefighters in the St. Louis area to Technician level.  Our team is also the sole regional training entity for Rescue Systems.  Rescue Systems breaks the traditional FEMA 80-hour SCT class into a three-module delivery – Rescue Systems I, II, and III.  This allows organizations to select the depth of training based upon resources and equipment available to their departments and regional teams. 

In addition to ground-based programs, TTRS offers water rescue training including Rescue Boat Operator and Swift Water Technician.  Customized refreshers can also be designed around your department’s specific needs.  Your personnel have committed the time to receive the initial training. Allow TTRS to refresh that knowledge while adding the latest methods and technology.
