Tower Rescue Technician

This course meets and/or exceeds all JPRs for Tower Rescue Technician as defined in NFPA 1006 and 2500. Two days are spent on a crane familiarizing the students with work positioning, fall protection, and rappelling before performing a variety of rescues. The course then transitions to a cell tower to perform ground-based and tower-control rescues. This class is not for the weary with impressive heights requiring the fitness and tenacity to climb the cranes and towers. The rescue techniques learned here translate to a variety of rescue scenarios such as water tower, arborist, billboard, monopole tower and many others.
