This 4-day course will introduce you to the basics of boat terminology before teaching you the skills and knowledge necessary to perform static and swift water rescues from a watercraft.  Job performance requirements in this course meet and exceed NFPA 2500.  Further, all our instructors are active members with FEMA MO-TF1 and/or regional swift water strike teams with real world experience.  While Swiftwater Technician is not a prerequisite, it is strongly recommended.  All students will be in the river to demonstrate survival competency prior to high risk skills evolutions.  This course is consistently reported to be a favorite of our students.
