Michael Mueller

Michael Mueller (4M) is a third-generation firefighter that has been serving his community for over 17 years. Michael started out volunteering when he was 18 years old following his passion to become a career firefighter / paramedic and currently works in South St. Louis County Missouri where he is assigned as an engineer on a heavy rescue squad. Michael also serves as a rescue captain with St. Louis Metro Task Force 4 and is a rescue specialist with FEMA’s Missouri Task Force One. He has been involved with all disciplines of tech rescue for nearly 15 years and has been instructing locally and across the region for 10 years. Michael’s areas of specialty include swift water rescue and boat operations, rope rescue, confined space, and heavy vehicle rescue / extrication. Besides teaching all disciplines of technical rescue, Michael also instructs ACLS / PALS, TECC, and various continuing education classes regionally for EMS providers.
